Explore all aspects of Booz Allen employee experience to establish wholistic understanding and serve as the voice of the employee experience for internal work efforts.

Key Tasks:

• Constructs & facilitates design thinking sessions to identify areas of business that impacts employee experience & identify opportunities to enhance employee experience.

• Synthesize research information into actionable user insights for clients, designers, developers, and other stakeholders. 

• Crafts various design artifacts including Lo-Fi mock-ups, design strategies, and design thinking sessions using Mural.

• Crafts user research surveys using Optimal Workshop to gather quick qualitative and quantitative employee sentiment. 

HUMAN-CENTERED DESIGN STRATEGIST

Supported Navy client by conducting user research, synthesis, and ideation sessions to support digital Human Resources transformation effort.

Key Tasks:

• Conducted user research sessions to define current state of user experience & identify pain points and legacy system deficiencies.

• Created Design Thinking workshops & other visual artifacts using Mural to aid in virtual collaboration for team & project stakeholders.

• Facilitated stakeholder interviews, synthesis workshops and ideation workshops to gather user feedback & ideate suggestions for solutions.

• Created & delivered artifacts to communicate research findings, including system limitations affecting user experience, user sentiment and suggested enhancements.

BUSINESS ANALYST

Booz Allen Hamilton, March 2019 - March 2021

Supported Navy client by working with cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions for command.

Key Tasks:

• Consulted with senior command leadership to discuss technical goals & generate accurate requirements of desired IT system solutions. 

• Led & facilitated stakeholder meetings to capture high-level requirements, requirements generation meetings to cement captured requirements, and software demos to showcase digital solutions meeting requirements.

• Created & maintained software requirements specifications (SRS) documents of functional and non-functional system requirements for customer solutions.

• Created & delivered JIRA-based digital experiences for teams across command for various mission needs.

• Created several low-fidelity mock-ups to stakeholders during the development life cycle to ensure accuracy of generated requirements.

Accomplishments:

• Introduced lo-fi mock-ups to client to visualize requirements before development, which enhanced collaboration between business analysts, database, and development teams while reducing amount of re-work to deliver solutions

REQUIREMENTS ANALYST

Supported Navy client by crafting requirements & conceptualization for digital experience enhancements for military readiness tracking application. 

Key Tasks:

• Created and delivered requirements artifacts, including Current/Future state briefs, Software Requirements Specification (SRS) documents, Use Cases, and Traceability Matrixes for each implemented solution.

• Led cross-functional technical epics between development, database, and operational teams for implementing defined requirements

• Led & participated in multiple Development Lifecycle Epics, Risk Analysis meetings, & Level of Effort meetings, and Requirement Briefings with the client to display research findings & prospective solutions.

SUMMER GAMES INTERN

Booz Allen Hamilton, June - August 2016

Participated in 10-week competition to develop innovative health education training solution in collaboration alongside Booz Allen Hamilton & Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS).

Key Tasks:

• Responsible for defining project scope, crafting conceptual mock-up of prototype, determine project requirements, task flows, drafting business plan, and defining long-term goals for the project. 

• Conducted several iterations of market analysis on current and past experiments.

INTERN - RESEARCH ASSISTANT

Supported Navy client by maintaining legacy database system data and modernized database system data.

Key Tasks:

• Maintained information library of information on naval vessel history (historic and current) into legacy & modernized database systems.

• Designed technical documentation artifacts including an administrator guide, user guide & several task-specific guides.
